AT&T Stores low stock on iPhone 3GS, iPhone 5 on the way

We just got work from an AT&T tipster. Many stores across the San Francisco Bay Area have completely run out of stock of the iPhone 3GS. We called 8 stores and 7 of 8 were completely sold out and do not expect shipment to come in any time soon. We were prompted to drive to another AT&T store or pick up at an Apple. AT&T is the only carrier offering the iPhone 3GS for .99c with a 2 year agreement. It’s no surprise the Apple iPhone 3GS will see its end of life when the 6th generation iPhone is announced.

We are near the end of  August and the expected September 12th Apple announcement seems prominent .

I was amazed by it’s beautiful 3.5″ display, sleek design, apps and intuitive OS. That was a long time ago. Now we have even more powerful devices with bigger screens, better hardware and 4G connectivity. These devices offer more features than the iPhone like customizable OS, 4G LTE, bigger screen, removable batteries and expandable storage. While I do find these features great, the iPhone is in a class of its own and here are the reasons why I end up going back to the iPhone.
