With Apple releasing the iPhone 5, two new iPod models, and accessories all in one day, how can you not acknowledge them as one the most innovating companies of all time?
Just as the rumors suggested, Apple has sent media invitations to the press to join them September 12 for an event. The event will be held at yuerba buena in San Francisco and will start 10am pst. Apple is expected to announce the 6th generation iPhone, aka the iPhone 5.
We just got work from an AT&T tipster. Many stores across the San Francisco Bay Area have completely run out of stock of the iPhone 3GS. We called 8 stores and 7 of 8 were completely sold out and do not expect shipment to come in any time soon. We were prompted to drive to another AT&T store or pick up at an Apple. AT&T is the only carrier offering the iPhone 3GS for .99c with a 2 year agreement. It’s no surprise the Apple iPhone 3GS will see its end of life when the 6th generation iPhone is announced.
We are near the end of August and the expected September 12th Apple announcement seems prominent .
Apple has just announced it has sold over 3 million iPads in its first 3 days. The iPhone 4S sold 4 million in its first 3 days. This is a very amazing number considering the iPad is much more expensive if you don’t count off-contract iPhones. I ordered a black 32gb 4G LTE iPad and it arrived at launched like promised by apple’s website. The new iPad features an almost identical body as the iPad 2. It is slightly thicker and heavier at 9.4mm and 1.44 pounds. As the rumors suggested it does have the all new retina display and A5X quad core graphics chip. Apple has also included a much needed 5MP iSight camera and 4G LTE for AT&T and Verizon. Here are my initial impressions of the all new iPad.
