Nokia unveils a pair of Windows Phone 8 devices

Nokia just wrapped up their press event and announced the Nokia Lumia 820 and Lumia 920. These devices will be a few of the first to run Microsoft’s new Windows Phone 8 operating system. The flagship device is the Lumia 920 comes with some drool-worthing features. It features a 4.5″ PureMotion HD+ LCD display (720-1280), 1.5ghz dual core Snapdragon S4 CPU, 1GB RAM, 8.7mp Pureview Camera, all wrapped in a polycarbonate unibody construction.

The low end Lumia 820 features the same 1.5ghz dual core snapdragon s4 cpu, 1gb ram but a smaller 4.3″ ClearBlack Amoled display and 8.0mp Carl Zeis camera. Both devices are scheduled to be realeasded in the 4th quarter of 2012 in HSPA+ and LTE variants.
